12 REASONS YOU MUST JOIN OTHER DELEGATES TO VOTE FOR HONOURABLE FIFI FIAVI KWETEY AS GENERAL SECRETARY OF THE GREAT NDC, COME DECEMBER 2022

 

1. Fifi speaks to the heart of the people in a language they understand better because he is a political economist/Financial analyst with practical understanding of the workings the economy and financial markets. Remember these days the people are interested in how they can put food on the table for their families, NOT just any general talk and empty claims of being consultants on democratic issues.

Fifi is not just great at breaking down the most complex economic issues down to the understanding of the ordinary person but was a key member of the economic team that achieved some of the most unprecedented economic achievements in the history of Ghana- a feat that the NDC will continue to point to as being the superior group into whose hands Ghana must be entrusted. Fifi was not just a key member of that achievement but also the key spokesman who communicated those achievements with clarity and conviction. Fifi as CEO of the party will make the campaign in 2024 even easier- a campaign that is going to hinge on Economy, Economy and Economy. 

Fifi has done it before and he can do it again and again. 

2. Fifi resonates much better with the youth. His message is filled with a burden relating to the need to do things that will bring a transformed party and country for the sake of the youth. He brings true hope for the youth of Ghana. Remember youth unemployment has become a key topical issue these days and security experts are concerned about that threat to our peace. Fifi understands that menace and is determined to lead a party that will have a plan to push forward an agenda towards solutions for youth issues. His message resonates with the youth. The NDC needs leaders like Fifi who genuinely have a passion for the youth. 

3. Fifi is TRUSTWORTHY. I repeat- TRUSTWORTHY. A man of his word. A man who means what he says and says what he means. As he says repeatedly, a leader whose word cannot be trusted is not worthy to be a leader. The millions in NDC know they can trust this man. They know they are safe with this man. They know beyond any doubt that this man is unbribable, unmanipulatable and a trustworthy champion of the cause of party and country which is the way to bring wellbeing to millions in NDC and Ghana. Just as no one wants to entrust his family or business in the hands of a person who cannot be trusted, so do the millions in NDC cannot afford to entrust the NDC into the hands of people whose trustworthiness cannot be guaranteed.

4. Fifi is not just trustworthy but very competent. He played an unforgettable role in the success of the NDC in both 2008 and 2012 elections. In 2008, he was the Champion in setting the records straight which exposed the lies of the NPP and made Ghanaians see that the NDC was the superior alternative.  That competence is going to be critical heading into the 2024 elections.

5. Fifi also played a critical role in helping to collate the results of the NDC very accurately and on time in both 2008 and 2012. This was key especially in 2008 in stopping the last minute attempt by the NPP to steal the results in the strongroom (those who have not yet seen the video of how Fifi and others stopped the NPP from stealing the election in the strongroom in 08 should do so and see for themselves. This Lion of Nogokpo is the man needed to become the Gen Sec of the NDC when NPP in 2024 is going to go all out to try to steal the election again.

6. Fifi believes that NDC is a party founded on deep love for Ghana- a party of patriots. His platform is calling for NDC to re-dedicate itself to those original values and principles that distinguish NDC from NPP. Fifi says NPP is a fake patriotic party. NDC founded by true patriots who turned around the fortune of Ghana between 1982 to 1992 is the true party of lovers of Ghana hence the anthem of NDC that calls for patriots to arise and arise for Ghana our motherland.

7. Fifi is not just trustworthy, he also has an unblemished record in every ministry he has headed. From Finance ministry through Agric and Transport, he has left a trail of honesty and incorruptibility. A Scandal free General Secretary is a most potent weapon the NDC needs heading into the 2024 elections.

8. The NPP trembles at the voice of  Fifi. His FIRE gives them sleepless nights. If voting can be done by NPP supporters, they will heavily vote against Fifi as we have seen in recent Ghanaweb polls where NPP people dominate for example. Fifi is a nightmare to the NPP. Imagine having the combination of Fifi as Gen Sec and Sammy Gyamfi as Communication Officer working with a great Chairman- what an earthquake that will be to the NPP.

9. Fifi is a great team player and a person whose great asset is listening very attentively. One of the reasons he was super successful as Chief Communicator for NDC between 2005 to 2008 was that ability to listen and to play well in a team. He believes that one man does not possess all the answers and he is ready to listen to even the most ordinary person because he believes some of the greatest answers come from very humble places.

10. The above makes Fifi very easy to relate to once the common objective of a better party, better country and the well being of all, is the main agenda. While some mistake his passion, fiery and confident posture as arrogance, Fifi is in truth very down to earth, respectful of all and sundry and humble. He is still loved by staff in all the ministries he has headed and there are many people who worked with him at the NDC HQ between 2005 and 2008 who still cherish him a lot

11. Fifi believes that NDC can become a party of solutions and creativity. He believes that the party can move to the next level where the creativity of its teeming members is unleashed so that NDC becomes a true vehicle that will lead the march towards making Ghana great and strong under God.

Fifi, the deep thinker, the man of deep philosophy, the man who believes that the party can become a vehicle of  creative solutions, is the man best positioned to become the CEO of the party at this time.

12. Last but not the least, NDC followers can always have the guarantee that Fifi will always put the interest of the the party first. He is the quintessential party man- a true son of the original true values and principles of the party, a genuine patriot. Party first is his number one mantra. Not his own interest but the interest of the group first always. Right from 1992 to date, Fifi has always shown that the interest of the NDC and Ghana will always be the first priority for him.
